This is to show the basic sound of this violin. Took me awhile to realize it sounded icky and tinny because the microphone was pointed the wrong direction. So I turned it towards the base of the big bulbous part of the violin and suddenly it sounded much closer to real life. Not perfect but close.

It’s just the tail end of a song, and then each string played open until it fades out. (Had to do the E string twice because my knuckle hit it.) The A string intermittently sounds weird because it’s unraveling, but it sounded pretty good in this one. And I’m self conscious about the part I messed up when I was playing, but I figure what really matters is what the violin sounds like. So I’m going to post it now.
