I don’t know if this is incompatible with your living situation or what. But there are very inexpensive shower chairs out there. They’re light weight (at least some are) but sturdy. And you can remove them when you’re done. That’s what I used for years when I was still capable of showering regularly. Now my bathtub is just storage space, which is actually a good thing.
