Just updated my tumblr theme a lot.
I basically tried to get it as close as possible to the colors and fonts used in the text editor I write tumblr posts in. It’s made it way easier for me to read. Especially that weird script-ish font is now gone completely, so quotes and titles are now readable. I’m not sure I got the exact shade of brown I wanted for the post background, but I gave it a good shot considering how much difficulty I have with those color palette things. I also got rid of an obscure line in the CSS that resulted in huge spaces between words in some of my tags. And got rid of these annoying little graphics that were being used instead of dots in lists.
I’m glad that I was able to adapt this theme to my needs rather than get a whole new theme and start over. That would have been annoying. And I was able to create my current-favorite light blue on dark muted brown coloring without having to change my redwoods background. (I like my redwoods background a great deal.) I didn’t change the font size to the ones I use in my text editor because the ones i use in my text editor are big and designed for use with my glasses either on or off.
I’m surprised I could do something this productive while feeling this lousy. I’ve now got this thing going on where suddenly there is Endless Snot in my nose, and then my nose is totally dry for ages, then the Endless Snot shows up again. I can’t tell if this is a bug or really bad allergies (I checked my state and it’s in the red zone this week on pollen.com) but I can’t wait until it’s over. I mean I’m not horribly suffering, but it’s annoying as hell.
