OMFG this is exhausting.

I just had a bit of a meltdown due to being blindsided by a staff person’s comment in the middle of an intense discussion about disability oppression. And my body does not handle adrenaline well anymore. I feel like I’ve been jogging.

Fortunately he got the idea. But basically being this person’s sole guide into the world of disability politics is really intense and exhausting sometimes. But with some of the stuff that comes out of his mouth I feel like I ought to do something for the next disabled person he encounters. He’s a decent guy as guys in his position go, but he doesn’t experience any major form of oppression so his perspective is mind-boggling at times.
