Autistic Problem 84: When people perceive you as articulate or intelligent, find out you’re autistic, and immediately assume that you must be an aspie.
Including when the person doing the assuming is an aspie.

Happens to me online a lot. Not so much offline, unless they’re doing the thing where my wheelchair convinces them I look really weird entirely because of something physical. I hate this one because it only reinforces their already wrong ideas about autism and AS.
