EEEEE! They look so happy and cozy. I love the look on the black one’s face!

Okay that is just ridiculously cute. My boy cats sometimes sleep like that still, though they did it more when they were babies. I seriously wish I could morph into a cat sometimes just for the naps. There is no way for anyone who isn’t a cat to look as relaxed and comfortable as a cat.

When I used to use very high doses of kava (like where you might as well buy root powder and drink it because it would be too expensive to take zillions of pills) for PTSD and severe overload and seizures and nerve pain (this was before I got my seizure/pain meds sorted out, and my neuropsych had long ago recommended it for epilepsy since I hadn’t tolerated seizure meds before that). I used to end up reaching this state. Where… It’s an extreme muscle relaxant. And I swear I would reach this state where I got so relaxed I turned into a puddle. And I felt just exactly like the way cats look when they turn liquid. Except nobody would take pictures of a big hairy woman flopped on a bed and call it cute. :-P

Not that I would recommend doing that unless you really have no other choice. Because its hell on your digestive tract. But for someone going through extreme PTSD who can’t safely use the psych system, or who has all those other issues but is so doctor-phobic they consider suicide the night before every appointment, it was a godsend. And in a world of unrelenting severe anxiety, turning into a puddle now and then was a very good thing. Fey would often find me and turn into a cat puddle on top of me.
