I think I’ve definitely turned the corner.

Between sick and getting close to pneumonia because of aspirating. And not getting pneumonia because of antibiotics, but feeling really really sick because of the antibiotics.

I really wish I wasn’t so hypersensitive that I can smell and taste when certain drugs become active in my system – even when it’s given through an IV in the hospital and is nowhere near my mouth.

Oh well. It could be worse. I’ve been on such high doses of antibiotics before that it felt like parts of my body were wilting as they made their way through my veins from an IV. This is mostly just a cruddy feeling all over and diarrhea with the occasional extra nausea. I’m trying to replenish all my poor little symbiotic bacteria this stuff is killing (seriously it feels like killing innocent bystanders in a fight, and I feel bad), but it’s still pretty ugly in there.
