as small as a world and as large as alone

This is what happens when it feels like my ears ought to be flicking back. Except here I’m doing it over and over again. The main effect visibly from the front is my glasses moving slightly, pulled backwards by my real ears, and sometimes parts of my scalp move as well. But it’s roughly the same muscle area, humans just don’t have the right ear mechanics (or the number of muscles required, cats have 32 per ear) to pull it off the way cats can. I have no idea why I expect cat ears sometimes, I just do.
