If I were a bender, which element do you think I’d be?

I am inordinately pleased that this post uses the subjunctive mood correctly.

I’m very curious

Actually, super curious about this. 

Curious. More curious about why.

I suspect water for myself, and fire for you (sherlocksflataffect).

But unfortunately I would have trouble explaining why, other than that I associate fire with the kind of intense willpower that seems to drive you despite the amount of shit you get.

And for myself, a friend recently taught me the symbolism of the elements, and it became apparent that I’m ridiculously waterish. And reading up on the show, they seem to be using very similar symbolism to what I learned.

But I’m not always capable of explaining what the elements represent to me, because what I learned is very complicated. Which is also why I couldn’t explain fire with you beyond something very oversimplified. Water is just even harder for me to explain.
