Kittens! They are wonderful. And they grow up into cats, who are no less wonderful. Which is something I really want whoever adopts Bella’s kittens to be cognizant of. Just because the cat population is currently large enough to mean it’s a challenge to find homes for all those who need one…

Those seem like completely reasonable criteria. I would also carefully watch how they interact with the kittens. Are they being respectful? And if not, are they okay with being told how to do it right? Get a sense of how the way they move, interacts with how the kittens move, and if it works together – not sure how to say it but I’m sure you know what I mean. Do it like house hunting – if something seems massively off, don’t accept it.
