Weird weird half-asleep thoughts and general WTFery.

Where Heidi – from the children’s book –,wants to see her grandfather. She has to climb into her ear, and the path up the mountain appears. To come back she has to climb out of her ear. And her grandfather’s house and that whole part of the mountain isn’t real in most people’s eyes. And she’s trying to convince them the world in her ear exists.

And also in the very first Final Fantasy, supposedly there are two characters in the beginning who stare across a lake from opposite shores. And the graphics are too crappy to let them see each other on the screen. But maybe when they do some kind of restoration of the original game, they’ll finally see each other onscreen.

In case it’s obvious, neither of these half-dreams involve much in the way of reality.
