as small as a world and as large as alone

I went to visit Helen in Arcata. THIS IS BEHIND HER SCHOOL. I had no idea how beautiful Humboldt State was. I loved it there. Arcata is like its own little wonderland. It’s this little community so different from anywhere I’ve ever been. 

There was this huge tree that had fallen and it went across a small creek onto higher ground. Helen and I decided to climb it to see where it went. As it turns out it didn’t really lead anywhere so we went back down. Helen was nimble like a cat going up and down that tree. In one of the pictures you can see Helen at the very bottom of the tree taking a picture. I was kind of scared because we were pretty high up. Since Helen was showing no fear I had to put on a brave front.
