[Computer art of a brown cat with orange eyes, staring at you with one ear back, with only the face and part of the back visible.]
This is from an iPad app called Paper that I’m testing out for the first time tonight despite having owned it for ages. It’s a very simple drawing/painting app. A handful of brushes, a handful of colors, that’s it. But that’s part of the appeal. And what is there is quite elegant. It can be used for both drawing and handwriting (there’s even one brush designed to work well with handwriting). There’s one brush that acts like watercolor.
It’s one of a few apps I’ve noticed recently (including Blogsy) that male me enjoy using them more than usual with an app, because of some kind of elegance in the design. I don’t remember how much this app cost at first, but it was an additional $8 or so to download more than just the one brush and the eraser, so figure that into the cost.
