soilrockslove: [Looking through a clear stream to the bottom.  The bottom of the stream is covered in sand, while the top reflects the blue of the sky with all sorts of ripples.] One of the best parts of that time was that we could go hiking down to this little creek in the bottom of a nearby canyon - called Wet Canyon, appropriately enough.  It is a little micro-ecosystem down there with a lot of willows, walnuts, and such. And butterflies (and a few solitary wasps). This is looking down through the water of the stream.  The different levels of light and patterns amaze me.
