[Computerized pattern blocks in the shape of a blue water lily on a lily pad.] I have been reading a lot about lilypads lately and something about the thin rhombus blocks reminds me of them. This is my first ever successful attempt at making pattern block art that actually represents something. I think it’s easier when they can be any color I want, and when the blocks reminded me of the shape rather than trying to force blocks into a shape.
