Totally agreed with josiahd except: Activism doesn’t mean opposing things. Or doesn’t have to mean that anyway. It can. But the idea that activism always means opposing things is part of that monster, and the ideas it wants to spread around everywhere (also it tries to claim an idea of what radical means that has nothing to do with that, either, because it wants to redefine both into as destructive pursuits as possible in order to destroy the real thing). (And lots of things that nobody thinks of as activism, can be activism, depending of course on whether a person wants to see them that way.)
