feliscorvus: This was one of my favorite parts of Monterey Bay on my recent visit there. It wasn’t part of the aquarium…just a random rocky outcropping near what was apparently a wildlife sanctuary area. Sea lions and several species of birds were all sharing the space quite harmoniously. Very neat to see. I spent a long time just watching everyone interact. The younger sea lions were even playing and sort of thwomping each other around like kittens at one point.
