feliscorvus: [A very relaxed-looking sea lion lounging on a flat rock in the ocean] One of the sea lions I saw in Monterey. Not in the aquarium; this one was just hanging out on a rock next to a pier I walked out to the end of. I was really surprised at how generally chill these guys were even with humans walking around fairly close by. Probably they’re used to us from all the tourists wandering around the area. But still. And they’re some of the most skilled nap-artists I’ve ever seen. Being able to relax like that on a *rock* must be amazing.
