I just had a nasty skin reaction to something the other night and took way more Benadryl than my basic anti-nausea dose, which made me feel very very weird indeed. (My friend was worried it would go anaphylactic, or could, or something, so made me take the maximum dose of Benadryl, which made me extremely loopy. But I was able to stay aware for the first time in my life that it was me that was disoriented. Not the world disappearing. So that’s something.)
