Ignore if you don’t like medical litanies.

Usually things get worse a couple days before antibiotics work.

I am having problems with brain drift. Huge ones. And weird drifty hallucinations. Think that wouldn’t happen if I hadn’t been not-fully-recovered from delirium though….

By now there is. Oxygen dropping to low 90s without bipap, breathing much more difficult. Lots of nausea. If there’s more I’m not saying its because I’m so overwhelmed by my body I can’t sort it out and am tired, as much as the usual reasons.

Lots of nausea = bad. Try and stay hydrated even if it’s harder to have nutritional liquid than usual. Gatorade and such. Ginger stuff or ginger ale too. Antibiotics are important but I know they make stomach stuff worse too.

Also I forget which side is worse for you to lie down on but for me it always seems like lying with my right side down toward bed makes heartburn/reflux worse than lying with left side down. Not sure if that’s true for everyone though.

I really really hope you don’t need hospital again. Hopefully they caught stuff in time. If there is a way to have fluids administered at home if you need them that would be good. More delirium would be really bad too. I am worried. Don’t minimize anything if stuff is wrong. This whole evening I have been scared.

OH and use nebulizer. The new quiet one. Because breathing is important even when dealing with stomach stuff.

I’m drinking a lot of things – Gatorade, as well as Kefir and (of course) Ensure and soup. I got dehydrated because of some of the effects of strong antibiotics. But I think it’s getting better.
