Holy childhood nightmare fuel, Supernatural.
AWESOME decision to watch that right before bed, Emily. Awesome.
Eek, what season are you on? I watched up to…hmm, season 6 or something. Plenty of nightmare fuel to be had in that show…
I should never watch it then. I have a hard enough time with memories from Buffy. I mean most of their monsters were hokey, but every now and again they hit on something that can still scare the shit out of me on a bad night.
Like that thing that hung out on ceilings and ate people who were mentally ill or sometimes otherwise cognitively disabled. That can still make me hide under blankets some nights. And I can’t unsee the damn thing. Also a couple other points, like whenever they talked about resurrected dead people “coming back wrong”, leaving it way too much to the imagination what that meant.
