The hatchling that kept me up wailing all night long. (It scared itself when it left its egg. This is Tuffnut, and it’s ½ sibling to Ruffnut. Same mother (Hawkeye), different fathers. This one is ½ Partridge Rock, ½ Silkie, and so it’s skin is mottled yellow and black, which is GLORIOUS.
Note that this chick does not take any shit from the birds that are bigger and older. Named correctly before it even hatched XD
…. Also I totally got myself some ducklings too. Gonna need a second brooder box.
