Autistic people pretty much came up with it. I remember when.

And in any case…

…there’s something dangerous about saying that only NTs have certain bad values or misconceptions.

Or that bad values/ideas are the exclusive work of privileged groups generally and that no marginalized people ever agree with or generate ideas harmful to their own groups.

I know this is a thing and that it’s bad. I’m not sure how to say what the bad thing is, though.

I don’t know how to say it especially with these infections kicking my ass at the moment.

But I do know that whenever I see someone saying they’ve never seen an autistic people say something or other, they probably just haven’t seen as many autistic people in as many contexts as I have. I worry too it creates resentment in those autistic people who do say or believe those things and feel like they must be invisible or something.

None of that is the answer to your question. It’s just the way my brain is moving.
