But extremely dangerous for autistic people or others who can end up categorized as not-real.
Do any of y’all have insight on how to identify safe and useful therapists?

Speaking of questions.
My brother once saw a therapist for the first time. And the guy asked him questions but literally wouldn’t respond to questions without deflecting them back as questions.
And my bother asked because of the nature of some of the questions, “You wouldn’t by any chance be a Freudian, would you?”
And all the guy said was, “And how would that make you feel?”
At which point my brother pretty much threw his arms up.
