Me in my favorite and most comfortable outfit: A faded old blue skirt with light blue flowers reaching nearly the floor, and a dark blue shirt. One from a thrift store, one a present from my mother.

It seems perfect, combined with blankets and an air conditioner, for regulating my surrounding temperature up and down fast, whichever my body tolerates. It’s loose enough that bloating doesn’t affect it. It’s perfect.

I don’t know anything about whether its fashionable and I’d probably be annoyed at cultural or gender signals people assume from it.

It’s also perfect for bed. Bed has gotten me into long skirts and dresses again. Because they’re easier and more comfortable than most other clothes. And I live in bed. So it’s great.

I found the skirt in a thrift store while hunting for enough clothes required for something. (The people putting together the event never imagined how poor some participants might be.) and I got it because it was cheap and the most perfectly comfortable thing I’d found. And the shirt came from my mother, who seems to have a good eye for what will fit, aside from sometimes the arm holes being too small. This one fits great though.

So…yeah. Favorite clothes of the moment for mostly reasons other than appearance. Although I love dark blue and lots of other shades of blue. I like combinations of blue and brown. But blue and blue is good too. But comfort and the ability to use it in bed are the main reasons. Looks are secondary. Cultural or gender messages are not even considered except to be aggravated by it.
