For those of you with gastroparesis, do you know the feeling of eating too much? Like you’re fine and then all of a sudden you take one more bite and then feel like you’re going to puke?
Yep. On a liquid diet it’s one more sip.
Also discovered sometimes I consume the whole bottle. Feel great. Then the nausea hits me half an hour after.
And there’s this entirely different feeling when I’ve gone over one more line. Like had an entire bottle too much Ensure in a day. Where my entire digestive system stomach to intestines goes all painful and like my gut is saying “please…. Nooooooooooooo…..” And crying its eyes out in the form of this weird type of pain that feels like no other type I’ve ever had. (And I have a zillion kinds of chronic pain.) Not the worst I’ve ever had. But like my gut is begging me for mercy and trying to make me understand how awful it feels to be mistreated so.
Curious if anyone gets that. I’ve only ever had it when overeating GP-style (eating barely enough any other style), or once when on prednisone. It makes me sometimes do this weird low pitched keening moan if I don’t control myself and it gets bad enough.
Anyone get that thing?
