OK just got off phone with them, regarding youneedacat.
It was really nervewracking. And I can’t remember a lot of the exact words of what I said or the person on the other end of the line said. Like I said I had a sort of “flow chart” thing even though I couldn’t follow it word for word and the…
Now you know how I’ve felt for days. I’ve had all that BS pointed straight at me. And they know what name to connect my name with. My DPA called them from my room phone and told them personally. And a nurse asked me which name to call me. They know damn well who I am. When they ask what they can do, ask that none of their disabled patients or other vulnerable people face repeated pressure to consider the “option” of death. I will keep fighting as much as I can for the rights of patients who don’t have the whole disability community aware of who they are.
