Are there any other autistics who use handflapping to convey being scared/anxious instead of happy?
I get that most of the time it’s pretty much Generic Autism Symbol, but when used in an ‘expressing emotions’ context, it tends to be used…
That isn’t the case with me. Both can mean both. I’ve seen autistic ppl flap both directions. When I posted a video where I was happily flapping side to side I got accused of being fake just because in that moment I wasn’t flapping up and down and you know real autistic people only ever flap up and down. Mind you I do both. But this is how low my stalkers will stoop in order to bully me. They act like its fine for any other autistic person to do something but if I do it that way then it’s because I’m not really autistic. They ignore dozens to hundreds of other people they see doing exactly what I’m doing and focus entirely on me, and never ever answer when asked why by me or other people similar to me.
