Fey welcoming me home. She is frantic and worried even now. I imagine the hole to my tube smells like a bad injury to her, blood and guts and especially guts. She’s been sort of doing a frantic snuggling thing where she can’t stop wiggling around and rubbing my face over and over.

YOU ARE HOME AND FEY IS THERE! :D :D :D Worth staying up this late here to see that this is true. Wow. Want to say more but brain not operating right now. But glad you are alive and home and nobody better try and lock you up. And tube is good and hope it is working okay and yeah. Language no. Cats yes.

I’m sorry I didn’t write earlier but I was totally exhausted from both all the new stuff we had to do today, and the meds they have me on right now which completely zonk me out. I couldn’t even think of writing before now. I’m in a lot more pain than I was at the hospital, not sure why. Either that or I can feel it better because I am not in adrenaline mode.


I’m so glad you finally got home to Fey! Totally unsurprised at how glad she seems, too. It hopefully won’t take too long for her to decide that the new smells aren’t a reason for serious concern.

Unfortunately, today’s trip to the ER seems to have tripled her concern. Poor cat. :-( Today as I was leaving she gave me an agonized stare. Came home and she was frantic and all over me and totally worn out from worrying all day. So worn out when we set food out she just flopped in the floor. It takes a lot, to put her off her food. Now she is going up and down the bed snuggling first my face then my legs. I wish I could convince her she doesn’t have to worry about me. :-( Anxiety seems to be exhausting her.
