I can’t understand
People whose worlds are so safe
People who want to believe the world is so safe
That they won’t believe
Anything that has happened
In real life
To me
Or to anyone I know
Whose worlds aren’t so safe at all
And in their disbelief
They condemn us to even less safety
Just because we come from different worlds
