Do kids get sent to the actual principle? I thought they got sent to the vice principle?

Also, I don’t really know if I’ve gotten in trouble and been sent out of class or not!

I got sent to the principal’s office as a kid. My town didn’t have vice-principals in its public schools…

I was sent to the principal a lot during my time at public school because they had a horrible policy that if you were bullied then you were just as much at fault as the bully.

In private school you weren’t sent to the principal, you were sent to the counselor. I never even worked out what the hell all the titles were at that school because we had a principal and then a headmaster and a bunch of other confusing titles. And then one year they changed the principal’s title to associate head. And you were rarely if ever sent to any such important people who apparently had better uses for their time.

  6. clatterbane said: It probably depends on the school. My primary school didn’t have a vice-principal. I got parked out in the hall a lot for being “disruptive”, but also got sent to the principal some. At later schools with VPs, they mostly handled disciplinary stuff.
