Once again, I’ve just been reminded that no, I cannot go without a day without taking Phenergan. :(

Managed to forget to take it again this morning.

Didn’t notice a thing until about midnight. 

Now? Waves and waves of nausea. Damn it. -_-

Yep. I stick it up my butt four times a day. Just woke up because one of my doses is at three in the morning.

I don’t do well with this class of drugs. I’ve reacted badly to Phenergan in the past. I’m more vulnerable than most to the side effects of this entire type of drugs. And what do I know, nearly every nausea drug is related to it. So I take Benadryl (both for nausea and to stave off side effects) and hope for the best, because I have to be on Phenergan and Reglan among others, and I can’t afford to give them up just because they have scary side effects. (Although I can’t take a full dose of Reglan, because otherwise my entire body starts thrashing uncontrollably. And domperidone isn’t available here even though it would totally solve that.)

Who on earth had to make most nausea meds neuroleptics or closely related to them? This is why I always have to explain in the hospital why some meds are on both on my bad reactions list and my med list.
