Finally got shots of Izabel all grown up. She was my little nervous rat-ling while outside today. She didn’t want to leave my side and kept jumping up onto my shoulder. Then she decided it wasn’t safe and took shelter in my shirt. She used to do this as a baby. She would just sit in there and sleep. 

Finally she ventured out onto the grass. She got a little too excited and was running all over. I had to snatch her up before she spooked herself. LoL. It was so cute to see her so alert to every sound, while her nose twitched at rapid speed. :D

I’ve actually known many rats that <3 being outside.  Yam was the most into it, though.  Every time we walked out the door the nose would start sniffing at 90 mph and he would start bruxing with happiness. He was super-interested in all the smells on the wind!
