I really love St. Mark’s Church Philadelphia, and in my fantasy church the nave would pretty much be a replica. That chancel rail looks amazing, and I love that the Stained glass goes down to behind the Priests. I would also want to replicate the doors.
I really love Episcopal Churches in Pennsylvania. They all seem so beautiful!
That is gorgeous. One of the sad things about our church is that we have no stained glass. We were talking about it last week and apparently they not only cost a fortune to purchase, they also cost a fortune to maintain. (Our church has also had its fair share of vandalism and burglary, so it would probably get damaged at some point.)
I’m gonna post a couple photos of our church. It’s kind of neat because it was built in the 1950’s but looks like it was built in the 1970’s. A forward-thinking design for a traditional Anglo-Catholic parish. (I love the juxtaposition.)
