Why do y’all like Hunger Games?
Just finished the third book, and I don’t get the appeal. Explain? Would like to understand what people like about it.
I can’t explain the appeal because I really hated it. There were a few small things I liked. But I was bored the entire time I read it, I couldn’t get pulled into the story, everything felt flat, etc. I guess there were elements I would have liked in theory. Like hearing about them sounds much better than reading the book actually felt. Reading the book felt like neverending unpleasant work that I felt like I had to do, but that didn’t give me anything worth the struggle. There were things I liked. But not enough to be worth the time and effort it took to read it.
