Where did people get the idea that wheelchair users all wear blankets over their legs
Does anyone do this? I have never met anyone who does this.
I’ve met a few people who did it. Always para women, for some reason.
Except I’ve also done it sometimes. Except I wrap a quilt around my legs, sometimes around my whole body, to stay warm, because sometimes I can’t (yay autonomic problems?), and also because wheelchairs are good at conducting cold in the winter.
