I think that cat is thinking about pouncing on a thing - the hind end and shoulders look like they’re in the stage right before the ‘wiggle wiggle’ stage. *nods* That is EXACTLY the posture my cats adopt when there are lots of birds or squirrels are cavorting about outside the window. They set their bodies totally flat and their pupils get huge.  That said, this cat has a bit of a look about the eyes that seems to suggest acute catnip inhalation is at least a vague possibility. :P

what is that cat doing?

I think that cat is thinking about pouncing on a thing - the hind end and shoulders look like they’re in the stage right before the ‘wiggle wiggle’ stage.
