So this is what I’ve done to my tube.
1. My shirt is pinned to my skirt, so I can’t accidentally lift it and mess up the tube somehow.
2. There’s a sort if tube of t shirt material that I have wrapped around my belly and pinned so that it is tight and taped to my body so it won’t move much.
3. I have taped the tube down, and also pinned it to the t shirt material. That way it’s not pinned to a shirt. The way my tube fell out in the hospital was I pinned it to a really long loose hospital gown and the gown got caught in something and ripped out the entire tube.
I need to prove to the doctors that I am twenty times more anal about tube safety than any non-DD person. Because it is clear that they think being DD means I shouldn’t have a tube at all. I only wish I knew more about what I was fighting. (And that I wasn’t fighting so hard for myself right now that I’m having trouble doing any of the stuff for others I was planning to do when I got out of the hospital. It’s been one health crisis after another lately.)
