They now also post ads on the dashboard, as in I can see them from within my tumblr client. Including ones with flashing lights that trigger epilepsy, migraines, and other health problems. And I am not on a platform that has tumblr savior.

Your ask isn’t open so I’m replying here:

If you have adblock, it should cover everything - especially if you get rid of their sponsored posts in the third section.  Unless you’re referring to them literally putting *ads* (as a separate thing from sponsored posts) in the dashboard area, I’m not quite sure what you’re talking about and would need to see a screencap (unlikely since those would trigger you, so obviously i wouldn’t ask you to do this) to understand more fully what you mean.

Unless there’s just been a misunderstanding of what I meant on what kind of things would be removed by the code above.

Adblock doesn’t exist for the tumblr client I use. I’m not using a web browser and I’m using an iPad. Using the web interface on an iPad is very difficult for me. Using other tumblr clients is very difficult for me. Even though I hate some of the other things this client does, such as censors tag searches with words like pain or death or lesbian in them. I’m using tumblr for iPad.
