I keep seeing blogs use the word “bodies” to refer any person, usually in some kind of feminist and/or anti-racist context. It gets confusing, because when you talk about someone using “pictures of black…
I have always been terribly uncomfortable with that use of the word ‘bodies’ too. It makes me think of corpses or empty shells. Despite my thinking my body is more part of me than most ppl think of theirs. ’
