(oh yeah check out the dickweed on Facebook going “IT’S A DEFENSE MECHANISM, THAT DOES NOT DENOTE INTELLIGENCE” Sorry dood, there’s actually craploads of legit scientific research showing the intelligence of cephalopods.  Not to mention that most humans seem to measure “intelligence” as “being able to do the same things that help humans survive.”  I’m sure if cuttlefish could talk, they’d say you were unintelligent because of your lack of chromatophores and inability to rapidly change your body pigmentation to disguise yourself in every new environment you enter.)
