you spend every day worrying that your abuser’s lies are the truth and you have no real memories of your entire life & YOU are the liar.

…and when you assume that other people don’t have this problem and that it’s a personal failing

Because your writing protected me from this to a significant extent, I somehow assumed that you didn’t worry about their lies being true.

It doesn’t happen to me so much anymore. But when my stalker first started in on me she had me so mind fucked I thought all my memories must be wrong.
