I saw the words “i wish i was born a girl” written on a bus stop bench coming home late one night waiting for the last bus. I somehow automatically expected the responses scrawled around it to be obnoxious phobic and hateful. But they were instead really sweet, my favourite was the one written vertically along the very left of it, it read  “be what makes you happy you are not alone <3” it kind of gave me hope for this world.
