I have recently noticed that certain kinds of headaches and migraines make me unable to talk.
Normally I can still type and understand, especially slow and non-complex speech, it’s very rare that I lose all words. Forcing me to speak will result in me painfully talking angrily and limited words…
Migraines can even cause speech loss in nonautistic people. So they can really wreak havoc with autistic people. I often have trouble telling the difference between migraines and other things. Because I get lots of migraines including the kinds that don’t cause headaches.
