Some more off my recent brown and blue clothes, as well as some of my cyborg gear. (Backpack with food going into my j tube. Suction drainage bag sucking bile out of my stomach through my g tube.)

Long dark brown tiered skirt. Light blue tanktop with decorative blue buttons around the collar. Gauzy dark brown shirt with light blue and tan and white flowers, over the tanktop with a little triangle of buttons showing from underneath at the top. Brown scarf worn on hair.

I never believed it until I tried it. As someone with severe fatigue problems who spends all day but bathroom trips in bed, it really does make a difference to change into new clothes each day. Especially new clothes that I can enjoy wearing, not just random stuff. One of many reasons for the brown and blue project. Which has so far proved worth being broke this month for. All the things I did with that money have been worthwhile and made me more comfortable or happier. I didn’t know that wearing clothes I actually like could have this effect.

Well, clothes that are a compromise between my personal taste and respectability. Because some combinations still feel like wearing drag. I save those for appointments.

But being able to change my clothes every day and always find something I love looking at has had a surprising effect on everyday happiness levels.
