This is the gimp cat. Anne made her and the leg had never quite seemed like she wanted it, and one day it mysteriously fell off. She was sitting on the shelf almost unmoved and we never found the leg. She seems to work better without it in the end. she’s carved out of ebony and is tiny and very detailed. (And I’m a wheelchair user, I’m allowed to say gimp. And to appreciate a “broken” sculpture like she’s meant to be like this. And etc.)
