➸ Trying to find the right words: "empathy"
Empathy is a bad concept and it needs to go away and leave everyone alone.
Eh, I’d be happier with it being broken up into several different words for the different things it refers to.
I think caring about someone else’s…
Just now my doctor described it explicitly as a lack of empathy. Or something very similar anyway. He was trying to describe how some nonautistic professionals respond to me and “their capacity for empathy goes out the window”.
