Cats are smart.
Awhile back I noticed some disturbing cloud rotation during a storm and decided to hide in the bathroom for awhile (just before the tornado watch started).
Ran frantically all over the house looking for Fey and finally found her. She had somehow managed to crawl INSIDE the couch. Which was the safest place to be outside the bathroom. Considering around here mostly tornados just break windows
So I had to grab her by the leg to get her into the bathroom. And meanwhile my staff person decided he wasn’t going to bother hiding, despite the green sky, clouds moving sideways really fast, and tornado watch saying to take cover.
Between him and the cat I know which I’d trust. Fey began meowing to go out and I checked the computer and the tornado watch had just ended. That moment.
