If you’re the type to tell someone what they “should have" done in a traumatic situation, I fucking hate you.

Same for people who say what people should have done before the traumatic situation.

Bonus points if they want to explain to you about how you should understand that your abuser really meant well.

I know someone who was raped by institution staff. They called a rape crisis hotline and was told she should be grateful they took care of them.
