Oh also

My doctor finally acknowledged autonomic dysregulation on paper the other day. Granted it’s mostly for a letter he had to write, but still. I guess I’ve known for years, but my doc doesn’t like to diagnose things if he can leave them open ended.

(I understand why, but sometimes it’s a nuisance. He leans towards being conservative about diagnosis and treatment and leaving things open. Sometimes that’s good. Sometimes he leaves them open so long you don’t get treated. Double edged sword.)

My mom has been diagnosed with many different autonomic conditions I think. Autonomic failure. Autonomic neuropathy. Various Parkinson conditions that affect the autonomic system, like multiple system atrophy. She has neuromuscular problems too, involving both general fatigue and specific muscle weakness with use.

All of the above applies to me too despite manifesting differently.

So whatever the hell this is it’s most likely part of the hereditary clusterfuck.
